Netflix teases ‘Black Mirror’ movie release

The fifth season of black mirror is probably a long way off, but you’ll soon have something to tide you over. A few weeks after Netflix job (and promptly deleted) a mention of a black mirror movie, the service has listing a Black Mirror: Bandersnatch movie. The entry contains few valuable clues as to what’s involved, though the odd 5 hour and 12 minute runtime (assuming it’s accurate) has led some to suspect it’s the rumor mill. where you choose your own adventure. There may also be clues to the setting.

Twitter User Jeeves Williams Noted that Netflix appeared to be filming a scene set in the UK circa 1984, the same year adverts began for a ZX Spectrum game named (what else?) Bandersnatch. There’s no certainty the Netflix movie has anything to do with gaming, but it seems like perfect fodder for black mirror creator Charlie Brooker. The developer, Imagine, got carried away Bandersnatch as a “megagame” to go bankrupt before release. The key members went on to found the legendary games studio Psygnosis, so there was a silver lining to this story – not that we were expecting one for one. black mirror movie.

The deleted Netflix program had the Bandersnatch film arriving on December 28. Assuming things haven’t changed, that’s consistent with Netflix’s recent strategy for the show. It premiered season four on December 29 last year – a release a year later would be appropriate.
