The sheriff’s department wants to search Baldwin’s phone for any evidence relating to the 42-year-old’s death.

Police found conversations regarding the production of Rust on Hutchins’ phone dated July 14, 2021, as well as photos taken in the Santa Fe area dated September 7, 2021.
“The affiant believes that gathering information prior to the film’s start date of Rust is essential to a full investigation,” the affidavit states, adding that police have requested Baldwin’s phone but have been asked to obtain a warrant. of search.
The actor and Hutchins were rehearsing for a shot where the star was supposed to draw the gun and point it at the camera.
Instead, the gun exploded, killing the mother of a child.
What happened during the incident “makes no sense” according to Rust star Devon Werkheiser.
Werkheiser claims the cast and crew were constantly “saying she was stable”.
“A lot of us were waiting for news on how she was doing,” he explained. “We had people in the hospital. Nobody was told about it, but somehow it got out to the world before those of us who were actually involved found out. she was deceased.
“Losing someone in a movie is hard and shouldn’t happen. Losing her…it just doesn’t make sense.”
